Castle Creations SW4 Sidewinder Sensorless WP ESC / Speed Control ONLY

Castle Creations SW4 Sensorless WP ESC / Speed Control ONLY

The all new and improved Sidewinder 4 builds upon Castles most popular platform – the Sidewinder 3. The Sidewinder 4 is our first platform running Cryo-Drive technology which reduces operating temperatures in all applications. Cryo-Drive is a potent combination of software enhancements and precision fluid dynamics. The new case is designed specifically for maximum airflow from the huge 30mm fan included with the Sidewinder 4. These changes result in cooler ESC temperatures, increased runtime and power handling. All of these improvements mean you can gear more aggressively for more speed and harder/longer runs. And of course it is still waterproof** and compatible with the optional Castle Link USB programmer.

The Sidewinder 4 is a versatile ESC that can be used in a wide variety of applications. It is available by itself our paired with our 4-pole brushless motors; it can also be used in a rock crawling application with a brushed** motor down to a 19 turn.

**Not intended for operation while submerged in liquid. If unit is operated in wet conditions, rinse with fresh water to remove dirt or corrosives, then fully dry unit.

**Brushed motors are recommended for rock crawlers (vehicles traveling 3-5mph.) Brushless motors are fine for use with rock racing. If your vehicle is going to be in a bound up situation, very slowly traversing rocks and obstacles, you are running a rock crawler. If you are constantly traveling at 5mph or higher, you have a rock racer.

Now with Cryo-Drive!
Software Enhancement: Our talented engineers have worked their black magic and given the Sidewinder 4 an incredible new feature. The Cryo-Drive software allows the ESCs to run cooler when compared to a similar ESC without the enhancement. This gives you the ability to run longer and harder without overheating. You can push heavier vehicles or get higher top speeds as a result.

30mm fan: Bigger is always better when it comes to fans. Our new fan is 20% larger than previous generations and will help your ESC keep its cool it the most extreme conditions. Now included with every 1/10th scale Sidewinder 4 ESC.

New case design: Our new case design gives the Sidewinder 4 a sleek and modern look. It also boasts improved ventilation that helps cool critical components
